CNC technology
With the sophisticated and precise Computer Numeric Control (CNC) technology we were able to revolutionize the way stone application is designed and fabricated. Using our custom designed software, we are able to create a 3 dimensional (3D) image of kitchen countertop, bathroom vanity top, Jacuzzi, or fireplace surround, that can be viewed before cutting the stone. After the drawing has been finalized, it's then used to instruct a machine on how to cut the stone which was previously chosen by the client.
Traditional fabrication machines are getting rejuvenated by the computer revolution. Various bridge saws, milling and routing machines are CNC-controlled and run by CAD/CAM programs. Many projects are becoming more intricate with the availability of computer-assisted design and manufacturing.
All Granite And Marble Corp. is aware of the endless possibilities that computerized equipment can bring to the process of fabrication. We are equipped with the state of art Contourbreton CN350 and Breton Goldenedge CTX. The Contourbreton NC 350 features two work-tables, which allows the machine to continue operating as new work pieces are loaded, positioned and unloaded. Breton Goldenedge CTX is used to process straight edges and perform the upper and lower chamfers on the work piece. This Work Center allows us to create any shape we want. Certain designs done by hand take days, but with our machines, we can do an ogee finish in a matter of minutes. The benefits of the Contourbreton give us the ability to design right on the computer and use an American CAM system. All Granite and Marble Corp. will continue to produce kitchen countertops, table tops, bathroom vanities, and fireplace surrounds on the new system. As the only company in the industry, we are able to fabricate unmatched number of over 50 different edge shapes, starting from most popular like Ogee, ¼ Round, ¼ Bevel, as well as fancy and sophisticated like Waterfall, Cove Dupont, Stair Thread, including laminated edges of all shapes.
